Bea Oyster is a NYC-based art director, creative strategist, and image-maker from Honolulu.

She creates campaigns and visual experiences across brands and media while drawing on a hands-on background in photography, production, and youth-focused storytelling.

Formerly the sole visuals editor at Teen Vogue (2023 – 2025), Bea contributed visual direction for select covers and viral features, including the KATSEYE cover (May 2025), and shaped campaigns that sparked fan-driven engagement and commissioned emerging talent, establishing herself as a trusted voice on Gen Z (and Gen Alpha) trends and creator culture.

She has also worked as a freelance photographer since high school, collaborating with clients including TIME, The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, The Guardian, Bon Appétit, and Teen Vogue.

Bea earned her B.A. in Art History from Smith College.
