Bea Oyster is a New York–based art director, creative strategist, and image-maker, originally from Honolulu.

She was most recently the sole visuals editor at Teen Vogue, where she pitched, produced, commissioned, and art directed cross-platform stories spanning culture, identity, and style through a youth-driven lens. Before that, she worked on the photo and art teams at The Wall Street Journal, NBC News, and in the Smithsonian’s Photographic History Collection.

Her work has appeared in The New York Times, TIME, The Washington Post, The Guardian, Bon Appétit, and most recently, she photographed Teen Vogue’s KATSEYE cover.

Bea earned her B.A. in Art History from Smith College and is open to select creative collaborations and projects.
